Mark your calendars for Wednesday, January 18, with Brigadier General Sally Selden, PhD, SPHR
Provost and Dean of the College who will be our speaker that evening.
All guests and spouses are invited to hear Brigadier General Selden and we hope to have a large turnout. This will be a pay as you come event since we are at the Piedmont Club--$25/person includes cocktails (beer and wine) and light refreshments. Also, if you know of any incoming freshmen for next fall, please invite them to come. An RSVP would be appreciated by 1/16/2023. Dress code for Piedmont Club is Coat with tie optional.

The Spartanburg Area Citadel Club Muster will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023
|

Time: 5:30pm-7:00pm
Location: The Country Club of Spartanburg (2500 Country Club Road, Spartanburg, SC 29302)
Cost: $25.00/person for Food (cash bar)
Our program will start around 6:00 and we will honor those alumni who have passed away this year and others throughout our alumni association. We will have a cash bar (beer & Wine) and light Hors D'oeuvres. Our speaker for the night after the Muster is Aaron Meadows - Citadel Class of '04 Chaplain, The Citadel, Wing Chaplain, Lt Col, 315th Airlift Wing, USAF.

April Monthly Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023

Our speaker for the evening is Cassie Lloyd, M.Ed., CFRE, and Director of Mission Advancement at the Spartanburg YMCA. She will be discussing the mission of the YMCA and how it impacts our community. We’ll meet at 5:30 and conclude around 7:00.

May Monthly Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023

Our monthly meeting for May will be at the Piedmont Club from 5:30 to 7:00. Our speaker for the evening will be Elliot Cont, a rising junior at the Citadel from Spartanburg. His parents are Patrick and Wendy Cont. Elliott will speak about his upcoming Medical Mission Trip to Kenya, Africa this summer.

KNOB Send off event at the Country Club of Spartanburg on August 9, 2023

We'll host our annual KNOB Send off event at the Country Club of Spartanburg from 5:30 to 7:30. We moved the date this year as June seemed to have too many conflicts and our attendance was poor at best. This is the week before they matriculate and Tom McAlister, Executive Director, The Citadel Alumni Association Association and VP of Alumni Affairs, will be our guest speaker for the evening. Dress code for the Country Club of Spartanburg is casual.
